Penguin makes the perfect indoor layer for cold winter days, and can also work as a lighter fall jacket. It has a deconstructed aesthetic with clean cut edges and overlapped seams.
The fabric contains no animal products, but it has a felted surface that looks almost like a smooth boiled wool. The fabric is unique in the fact that it acts like a boiled wool as well - it doesn't fray when cut - which has allowed us to use unique methods of construction such as overlapped seams.
This style is also available in Smoke and Loden. Maya is 5'8" and wears our size L here. Shoulder to hem is 37” and the fabric contains 80% polyester and 20% cotton. Hand wash cold, hang to dry, or dry clean. Made in Canada.
